Cloud Computing

For enterprises cloud computing is mainly a reduce cost issue. For smaller companies it is an essential base for new type of offerings that wouldn’t be possible without cloud computing, or in short: rent-a-software, rent-computer-power and rent-infrastructure.
Within automotive we have a special interest in cloud services because of the nature of our business:
- It is a global business
- We have complex structures in our data and we need to integrate many players
Mature cloud services is maybe the only practical way to integrate businesses from different companies globally with different standards and security levels.
Cloud computing has changed the game field for computing radically so we should be prepared to make applications ready to be run by a cloud service. It may be requested in the future if not now.
